Busy Bees Class

Welcome to Busy Bees!

As nurturers of Ivanhoe’s youngest children, our staff team consists of Mrs Mills and Miss Jackson – both Early Years teachers, who are wonderfully supported by Miss Evans,  Mrs Law and Miss Mahmood.

Together we strive to provide a setting where children feel safe, secure and confident to be able to build solid foundations and then the building blocks for their future successes within our school and ultimately, in life.

Throughout the year, children will be supported to build successful relationships with staff and peers, and use these as a platform to explore their environment and the learning opportunities within it. Open-ended resources and well-planned provision teamed with high quality interactions enable children to explore their interests and fascinations and build on current knowledge and skills. Developing independence and securing a good sense of self are both high on our agenda.

We know that when parents and settings work together, children achieve the best possible outcomes! We are always on hand via class DOJO, and there’s a friendly face to greet you at the door each day to answer any questions or queries.
